Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor pumping systems to transport oil or gas from wellheads to storage.
Regularly check equipment for operational efficiency and perform necessary maintenance.
Record data pertaining to pumping operations, such as volumes extracted and operational times.
Identify, report, and help resolve any equipment malfunctions or irregularities in production.
Ensure adherence to safety procedures and standards at all times.
Liaise with field supervisors and engineers to optimize production and troubleshoot problems.
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; further training in mechanics or a related field is advantageous.
Proven experience as an Oil and Gas Pumper or similar role within the energy sector.
Familiarity with pumping systems and their operation, maintenance, and repair.
Ability to handle physical workload and work in varying weather conditions.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
Strong commitment to health and safety regulations.
