Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive inspections of offshore structures, equipment, and systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Perform risk assessments and identify any potential issues that could compromise safety or operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain comprehensive inspection reports, noting any discrepancies or potential concerns.
Collaborate with engineering teams to devise corrective action plans in case of non-compliance or potential hazards.
Review technical documentation and procedures to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide technical advice to offshore personnel to ensure best practices are maintained.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Offshore Inspector, Safety Officer, or similar role in the energy sector.
Comprehensive knowledge of offshore safety protocols and industry regulations.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
Superior report-writing and communication skills.
Ability to work in challenging weather conditions and potentially hazardous environments.
Certified Offshore Inspector credentials are highly desirable.
