Key Responsibilities
Perform non-destructive tests on equipment and materials using appropriate methods (e.g., ultrasonic, magnetic particle, radiographic).
Evaluate test results to identify any faults or defects and report findings.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address and rectify identified issues.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations during testing procedures.
Maintain equipment and keep detailed records of tests performed and their results.
Assist in the development and implementation of NDT standards and procedures.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications
Technical diploma or certificate in Non-Destructive Testing or a related field
Proven experience as an NDT Technician in the oil and gas industry.
Proficiency in various NDT methodologies, including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and radiographic testing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in challenging physical conditions.
Valid Level II or Level III certification from the American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) or an equivalent recognized professional body.
