Key Responsibilities
Design and implement drilling plans in line with company and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with geoscientists and other engineers to optimize drilling strategies.
Evaluate the performance of drilling operations and implement necessary adjustments.
Develop cost estimates and analyze operational data to improve cost efficiency.
Select and manage drilling equipment, ensuring it meets safety and performance standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve drilling problems to minimize operational downtime.
Maintain a detailed record of drilling operations and share regular progress reports.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, or related fields).
Proven experience as a Drilling Engineer or a similar role in the oil and gas industry.
Excellent knowledge of drilling engineering principles and procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mind.
Proficient in relevant software (such as WellView, Landmark, etc.).
Exceptional project management and communication skills.
